Evidence You Can Examine Today
Relevant healthcare evidence, organized around the work executive teams need to evaluate.
Stability Edge is a founder-led advisory practice. The site does not present unaudited client outcomes as proof or imply health-system executive roles Mark did not hold. The evidence below names the employment, scope, credentials, and documented project details leaders can examine before deciding whether to engage.
Healthcare transformation experience
At Wellstar Health System (2022–2026), Mark held Senior Consultant, Organizational Effectiveness; Director, Organizational Development; and Senior Consultant, Talent Strategy & Workforce Insights roles. His work focused on performance development, leader behaviors, change management, organizational development, and workforce insights in a large not-for-profit health system. While at Wellstar, Mark was responsible for developing a grass-roots Wellstar proprietary approach to change leadership, which he then launched across the system to more than 2,500 leaders. In addition, he served as a system-wide centralized scheduling project change manager for the multi-year major transitional effort across specialty and primary care physician practices throughout the system.
Clinical and operational improvement
At Mission Health System, MAHEC, and Vaya Health, Mark served in Quality Improvement Advisor, Quality Improvement Consultant, and Senior Director, Healthcare Quality Systems roles. He facilitated work with physicians, pharmacists, nurses, hospital leaders, and community partners—including a multidisciplinary project that documented a reduction in heparin errors from 5 percent to 1 percent, alongside patient-rounding pilots, admissions value-stream mapping, discharge-process improvement, and Whole Person Care improvement efforts.
Enterprise technology delivery
As Senior IT Project Manager, PMO, at HCA Healthcare / Mission Health (2017–2021), Mark led organization-wide technology work: a seven-module ServiceNow go-live; a HealthStream migration spanning 3,000 online courses, 1,000 classroom courses, and 4 million transcript records; a PatientKeeper rollout across 12 specialty practices; an enterprise data-warehouse transition; and a HomeBase home-health EMR implementation.
Organizational capability building
At Duke Clinical Research Institute and Quorum Health Resources (2005–2012), Mark built workforce-learning capability and provided organizational coaching and education to executives at community hospitals across 26 states. This work complements his healthcare quality, improvement, learning, workforce, and organizational-development experience.
